JFC Shrimp Graders are specifically designed for use in the Shrimp industry. When harvesting shrimp it is important to get the appropriate balance between increase in shrimp biomass due to individual growth and decrease in shrimp biomass due to natural mortality. Selecting shrimp at the appropriate age & size at first capture is vital if the maximum market price is to be achieved.

JFC Shrimp Graders were produced as a result of collaboration with BIM (the Irish State agency with responsibility for developing the Irish Sea Fishing and Aquaculture industries) and are specifically designed for use in the Shrimp industry for harvesting appropriately sized shrimp in a cost effective manner.

JFC Shrimp Graders are available in 8mm, 9mm, 10mm sizes with a collection box and a 20mm pregrader in order to select out crabs and fish from the shrimp catch. They are also stackable to facilitate sequential grading through panels and are designed to minimize the space they occupy when not in use. Furthermore, JFC Shrimp Graders are robust, durable and light-weight making them easy to work with as well as being very long-lasting.
